Sexual satisfaction: Learning through experience
Sexual satisfaction is something that grows with each learning experience. Check out this article to learn more!
During your first sexual experiences, you might not feel a lot of pleasure right away. Sometimes, it can take time to get to know your own body and the other person’s and start enjoying things. You learn through your experiences.
Several factors can impact your sexual satisfaction. Here are a few:
- your stress and nervousness, because you haven’t got much, or any, experience
- fatigue
- your mood
- the emotions you feel about your partner
If you realize that you feel uncomfortable or embarrassed, just telling the other person can help reduce the pressure.
Making love isn’t a competition! The important thing is to know your body well, tell your partner what gives you pleasure, and ask what excites him/her, so you can both have fun! And of course, it all has to be respectful, without forcing either of you to do things you don’t like.
Sexual satisfaction varies from one person to another and one situation to another. Some things will arouse you, and others won’t. And it might be the exact opposite for the other person. It’s up to you to take the time to discover what “rings your bell” as you experience different things.
