If you (or a friend, peer or sibling) have been negatively impacted by a sexual picture/video being shared by peers, NeedHelpNow is here to help by providing youth (13 to 17 years old) with practical steps to regain control over the situation.

This includes information about contacting websites/online services to request a picture/video be removed (Instagram, Snapchat, Tiktok, etc.), dealing with peers who may have seen or be sharing the content, the importance of emotional support and information on certain criminal offences.

The site also provides resources for parents and safe adults who are assisting teens involved in these types of instances.

If you think you have an eating disorder or if you have concerns about your weight (fear of gaining weight, fear of eating, obsession with sports) or if you are worried about someone around you, ANEB is here to help.

Intervention by phone, text messaging, monthly chat sessions and email are available for teenagers across Quebec.

AQPAMM logo

AQPAMM provides information, referrals and support to families and friends of adults living with mental health problems. The organization also provides tools to help them build healthy relationships with their loved one while ensuring their own well-being. AQPAMM works to break the isolation of families and friends, helps raise awareness among the general public and decision makers to overcome stigma, and promotes the social inclusion of people living with mental health problems.

Ça suffit Logo

Ça suffit is for people who are suffering from sexual fantasies toward minors. Their mission is to provide support services to reduce the emotional distress experienced by these individuals and to prevent sexual offences.

By phone : 1 844 654-3111, Monday to Saturday from 1pm to 10pm. A self-help service is also available.

Centre D'aide aux Victimes D'actes Criminels Logo

Crime Victims Assistance Centres, or CAVACs, offer front-line services to any crime victim or witness. Help from CAVACs is available whether the perpetrator of the crime has been identified, apprehended, prosecuted or convicted.

Drogue aide et référence logo

Provides support, information and referrals to anyone worried about their use of drugs, alcohol and/or medication, as well as, to their loved ones, throughout Quebec. Counselors of Drugs: Help and Referral (DHR) identify the needs of callers, assess various possible solutions, suggest actions and refer to appropriate resources when necessary.

Aimed at providing legal advice for 12 to 20-year-olds, the service LET’S TALK LAW includes a free consultation with a volunteer lawyer available upon request (date and time sheduled between the lawyer and you). Thus, you can ask questions concerning your work, housing, drugs, family, etc. The volunteer lawyer can offer referrals to the right legal services or simply advise on possible solutions.

The service is provided by volunteer lawyers, members of the YBM, who ensure a non-judgmental and confidential handling of your questions.

Jeunesse J'écoute

Provides professional intervention, information, resources and volunteer support via text message to young people in English and French. Service offered across Canada, confidential and free for youth and adults up to 29 years old.

La Fondation des Auberges du coeur logo

A provincial network of shelters for youth in difficulty and homeless youth in Quebec, available in 10 administrative regions. This service is offered to youth aged 12 to 35 throughout Quebec. The shelters are open 24/7.

Here are all the services you can find (and much more!): guidance meetings, a listening ear, support in your process, answers to requests for shelter and information, animation of activities, crisis intervention, support in acquiring knowledge, mobilization of the group for the maintenance of the house, answers to material emergencies related to the housing, etc.

The app Crise allows you to find a crisis center across Quebec, downloadable on Android and iPhone.

Available online : Regroupement des Services d'Intervention de Crise du Québec. Their mission is to intervene with people experiencing a crisis, whether situational or related to a mental health problem. Phone intervention, crisis shelter, temporary shelter. Depending on the area, a mobile intervention service may also be available. Services for people 18 years and older, 24/7, confidential and free.
